Types of Educational Opportunities: Manage patients directly, Scrub in for surgery, Assist in clinics under supervision, Receive hands-on training, Assist with research, Didactic sessions, Publishing opportunities
Research projects, research facilities and resources, cadaver labs, publication opportunities, integration of the patient and public involvement, and the role of the fellow: We have a dedicated orthopedic research department with a research officer to assist doctors in their biostatistics and publications process. We don't have cadaver labs but we do conduct cadaver courses every year.
Related Conference/Lecture Schedule: We have weekly grand rounds We now hold a yearly arthrosocpy and sports Injury course. This year it was the 3rd course held in the month of October. 08 national faculty and 02 international faculty were part of this course (Prof. Ulunay from Turkey and Dr. Chanakarn from Thailand). A total of 50 participants were registered. It was a 03 day course which included state of the art lectures, cadaver dissection, hands on models/Simulators and live surgeries. The course for 2026 is scheduled to be held in October.
Athletic Team Coverage: We do get patients from different sports team but we are not an official treating physicians for any particular team
