Recent activity of Teaching Center: 90th anniversary of our department. (Oct 2024) We attend with papers every year to Annual Meeting of Colombian Orthopedic Society (SCCOT), SLARD and ISAKOS every two years.

Role of the fellow with respect to Clinical, Surgical, Research, and other opportunities: Each Fellow is involved in surgery, clinic, ground rounds, meetings, webinars, magazine club, simulation laboratory and research during the year of training.
Types of Educational Opportunities: Manage patients directly, Scrub in for surgery, Assist in clinics under supervision, Work on cadavers, Receive hands-on training, Assist with research, Pediatrics, Didactic sessions
Research projects, research facilities and resources, cadaver labs, publication opportunities, integration of the patient and public involvement, and the role of the fellow: Cadaveric Lab. Our research is mostly based on anatomical and clinical studies with Ortho residents and medical students of our School of Medicine.
Related Conference/Lecture Schedule: The program is divided in 6 rotations of 8 weeks with two attendings each. Surgery: Four days per week Clinic: two Days per week. Ground round: weekly Pre Qx. Knee meeting: weekly Residents Science basic meeting weekly Research meeting every two weeks. Simulation lab: At least once per week.
Athletic Team Coverage: We provide services to soccer professional teams of Bogotá and near cities. As well University and high school soccer teams.
