Fellowship covers all areas of knee surgery (clinical work and research). Extensive exposure to primary and revision arthroplasty, including latest technology eg robotics, arthroscopy, sports reconstructive surgery and trauma including major ligamentous disruptions and periarticular fractures. Regular clinical and scientific meetings. Fellow will be expected to produce at least one research project suitable for presentation at an international meeting and subsequent publication. Teaching of junior medical staff and other health professionals will also be involved. Weekly schedule will usually involve two days in the operating theatre, two days reviewing patients in clinics and one day pursuing research projects.
