The aim of this one-year fellowship is to enable orthopaedic surgeons to gain sub-specialist training in advanced skills. Fellows get exposure to variety of arthroscopic and open shoulder surgeries. From basic arthroscopic skill development such as sub-acromial decompressions and cuff procedures to advanced skills including arthroscopic Latarjet and arthroscopic brachial plexus dissections. The fellowship also has a strong research focus, including collaboration with research partners at the Queensland University of Technology and the University of Queensland. Fellows are encouraged to engage in project design, data collection & analysis, manuscript writing, and publication.
