Clinica Las Condes is a high complexity hospital founded in 1982. It is a certified clinic by International Institutions that guarantee it. It is the first Chilean clinic to be accredited by the Joint Commission International. It has a sports medicine center in which more than 40 specialists from different areas of orthopedic surgery participate, divided into separate units: - Arthroscopic and reconstructive knee surgery unit: 600 surgeries per year - Arthroscopic and reconstructive shoulder and elbow surgery unit: 350 surgeries/year - Hand surgery unit - Hip and pelvis surgery unit - Children's orthopedics unit - Ankle and foot surgery unit Other Facilities at the clinic -Simulation Center: Several Cadaveric courses per year, Anatomic studies. -Academic Unit: Research facilities. -Innovation Center: Department focused on Innovation projects. Two fellowships per year in shoulder surgery. Summary of Overall Participation: 70% Arthroscopy 30%Open surgery(arthroplasty Fractures) Two fellowships per year in knee surgery. Summary of overall participation 60% arthroscopy (ligaments, meniscal, chondral) 30% knee arthroplasty 10% Other ( patellofemoral, osteotomies)

Research projects, research facilities and resources, cadaver labs, publication opportunities, integration of the patient and public involvement, and the role of the fellow: Research Projects: we have different areas of development, with several projects per area ongoing. Robotic knee arthroplasty surgery, clinical and experimental Patellofemoral: clinical and experimental, 3 D planning, simulation models return to sports: clinical follow up after call surgery new surgery techniques. Fellow: Is desired active participation in at least two projects during the fellowship.

Athletic Team Coverage: At the sports center, we treat professional and high-level athletes. Not specific to a Team. During the winter season, our center cover three ski centers near to Santiago ( 1,5 hours from the city)
