Dr MacDessi specialises in knee arthroplasty and knee sports medicine surgery. He has a research interest in evolving techniques in knee arthroplasty surgery and has extensive experience in the field of cartilage restoration surgery, osteotomy and ligament reconstruction. He has multiple publications in the field of knee surgery and is a reviewer and editor for several international orthopaedic journals.
