Sano Orthopedics Lee's Summit, MO UNITED STATES Dr. Matt Daggett with SANO Orthopedics serves as the Medical Director of Sports Medicine at Lee’s Summit Medical Center. He was born and raised in Kansas City and went to the University of Missouri for his undergraduate education. Dr. Daggett attended Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences for medical school while also obtaining his MBA from Rockhurst University. He then completed his orthopedic surgery residency in Kansas City and sports medicine fellowship at the American Sports Medicine Institute with Dr. Larry Lemak in Birmingham, AL. After his completion of his sports medicine fellowship, he traveled to Lyon, France, where he completed a a shoulder fellowship with Dr. Gilles Walch and Dr. Lionel Neyton. During his time in Lyon, he was also fortunate enough to learn from Dr. Bertrand Sonnery-Cottet, a specialist on ligamentous injuries of the knee. He loves his family, home town, and his sports teams.
