Charges

The following charges are the 2025 - 2027 committee term.

  • Membership
    • Increase outreach to young professionals and potential female members to encourage membership with ISAKOS.
    • Increase the value proposition of membership by curating a suite of tangible benefits, including exclusive resources catering to members’ evolving needs.
    • Perform other such duties relating to membership in ISAKOS, as assigned by the Board of Directors.
    • Promote ISAKOS membership overall and within the member’s region, in collaboration with the ISAKOS Office, to recruit and retain members.
    • Review and approve eligible members for active ISAKOS membership, recommending promotions from Associate to Active Membership.
    • Review and approve eligible members searching for an ISAKOS sponsor by nominating a regional sponsor on the member’s behalf
    • Review quarterly membership reports, as needed, to allow trends in membership dictate where the committee focuses future projects and initiatives.
  • Strategic Plan
    • Advance the fulfillment/achievement of the ISAKOS Strategic Plan. Consider with all Committee initiatives how projects will assist in accomplishing key strategies in the ISAKOS Strategic Plan.
    • Facilitate access to member benefits by ensuring offerings are relevant and desirable to a diverse audience (e.g., geographic, language, gender, economic, age).
    • Focus on inclusive engagement and recognize the diverse needs of potential members, fostering an environment that supports professional growth.
    • Focus on membership growth in key regional growth markets with high potential.
    • Grow membership with a targeted effort to attract young professionals, female surgeons, knee arthroplasty specialists, and extend influence in underrepresented regions across the globe.
    • Provide opportunities for young professionals and underserved populations to access membership, engage in education platforms and increase their participation.
