Mission

Contribute to the overall education and research activities of ISAKOS as required and requested.

Body of Work: This committee will focus on elbow, wrist and hand basic and clinical science, as well as pathology, diagnosis and treatment of sports related injuries to these areas.

Awards & Fellowships
- Assist in the selection of the winner of the ISAKOS Gary Poehling Award.
Congress
- Develop scientific session proposals for the Biennial ISAKOS Congress related to Elbow, Wrist & Hand; Committee will be responsible to propose topics, session chairs and a balanced faculty, in collaboration with the Program Committee and ISAKOS Office.
- Review and grade abstracts for the Biennial ISAKOS Congress related to Elbow, Wrist & Hand.
Global Link
- Assist in the management, review, and organization of ISAKOS Global Link content related to Elbow, Wrist & Hand, to maximize value of this education portal for ISAKOS members and subscribers.
Journal of ISAKOS
- Provide articles to the Journal of ISAKOS, as requested by the JISAKOS Editorial Board.
- Serve as article reviewers for Journal of ISAKOS as requested.
Publications
- Prepare and submit at least one article, annually, for the ISAKOS eNewsletter; for possible inclusion within the 2026 and 2027 calendar years.
Strategic Plan
- Advance the fulfillment / achievement of strategies in the ISAKOS Strategic Plan. Consider with any initiative how that project will assist in accomplishing goals/strategies of the ISAKOS Strategic Plan.
