Summary

As everyone knows, there are many kind fixation methods of the femoral side in ACLR by arthroscopy, but there has been no gold standard for the fixation method of the hamstring autologous grafts for ACLR currently.

Abstract

Purpose

How to make the fixation method was more reliable, more conducive to the tendon-bone healing process and more significantly avoided such the side effects of the graft cut, sagittal graft motion known as the wiper effect and longitudinal graft motion known as the bungee effect so on.

Methods

Now the author has been designed a novelty fixation method that the miniature steel plate and absorbable balloon can be united as the fixation method for ACLR in the femoral side.

Results

Obtain a patent for invention concern the fixation instruments as the first inventor. In general, it can be regarded as a kind ideal femoral fixation method for ACLR.

Conclusion

The fixation method will have multiple good effects. Firstly, it is a more stable fixation for which like a double fixation methods. Secondly, the tendon-
bone 360 ° close contact which can promote healing process and be no risk of graft cut. Threely, the fixation position is closer the femoral original point of anterior cruciate ligament which can effectively avoid the wiper and bungee jumping effects.
