Originally trained in Argentina, Dr. Ibañez earned a medical degree and completed surgical training in orthopedics before pursuing advanced expertise internationally. He completed a prestigious Fellowship in Knee Surgery in Spain and holds a Diploma in Sports Medicine from the International Olympic Committee (IOC) in Switzerland. His professional experience includes being part of the Knee Surgery Unit at Hospital Sant Joan de Déu in Barcelona, as well as serving as an Orthopedic Surgeon at the Polyclinic Olympic Village during the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, providing care to world-class athletes.
