ISAKOS Global Connection

Individual Giving: Become an ISAKOS Godparents

This initiative was created to raise funds that provide meaningful benefits to individuals interested in ISAKOS membership, who may not currently have the resources to become members. Through the generosity of Godparents, the Society can sustain ongoing efforts to provide high-quality programs and resources to members worldwide, fulfilling the ISAKOS mission to advance the worldwide exchange and dissemination of education, research and patient care in arthroscopy, knee surgery and orthopaedic sports medicine.

When an individual donates $5,000 or more to the ISAKOS Global Connection, a portion of that donation will be allocated toward an ISAKOS membership and congress scholarship for individuals 45 years of age or under who have applied for membership and submitted a statement of need. Accepted applicants receive membership for five years plus one complimentary registration to an ISAKOS Congress.

The membership scholarship program offers those in need of funding for membership the opportunity to submit an application and statement of need. Accepted applicants receive membership for five years and a complimentary registration to an ISAKOS Congress during those five years.

ISAKOS Godparents Recognition (for 5 years):

  • Biennial Congress
    • Global Connection Reception invitation
    • Acknowledgment at the Global Connection Reception
    • Recognition on signage and advertising on-site at the Congress
  • Photo featured on the ISAKOS webpage
  • Recognition in the ISAKOS Biannual Newsletter
  • A lapel pin
