Thank you for your interest in submitting content for the ISAKOS Newsletter. Please take note of the following deadlines and guidelines prior to submitting an article.

The ISAKOS Newsletter will consider articles that are clinically relevant, pearls and pitfalls, etc., but will not publish original clinical research.
Please visit jisakos.com to submit original research to the Journal of ISAKOS.

The ISAKOS Newsletter is published twice a year, in March and September.

Style Guidelines:

• 1,000-2,500 Words, and submitted in an editable format
  (Microsoft Word preferred)

• 3-5 Figures - Figures must be high resolution

• Maximum of 5 references

• Articles must include author information, including;

  • Full name, degree(s) and country

  • University or hospital affiliation

  • Color headshot for each author

Important Notes Regarding Newsletter Submissions:

• Committee approval: Each article submission must have the approval of an ISAKOS Committee.

• ISAKOS member authors: The primary author must be an ISAKOS member. If there are multiple authors, at least one author must be an ISAKOS member, including the primary author.

• Submission policy: Each Committee Chair or Member may only author/co-author one article every 2 years. There must be a break period of 4 issues between publishing.

• Newsletter articles (or similar/related manuscripts) should not be published in, or simultaneously submitted to other publications without permission or disclosure.

• Please disclose any financial interest or other relationship with a commercial company or institution.

• All articles are reviewed by the Newsletter Editor and Copy Editor.

• Article inclusion in not guaranteed and is at the discretion of the Newsletter Editor and ISAKOS Office.

• You will be notified via email if your article has been accepted, declined, needs further editing, or is held for a future issue.
