Theo Marin, MD, is a fellowship-trained Orthopaedic Surgeon (TheMIS Orthopaedic Center, Thessaloniki, Greece, and Aspetar Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Hospital, Doha, Qatar) specializing in treating sports-related injuries and high-energy trauma. He has worked as a Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon at the Hospital Periferico de Coche "Dr. Leopoldo Manrique Terrero" (2018-2021) and as the Team Physician and Head of the Rehabilitation Department for Xanthi FC - Super League Greece (2019). Dr. Marin focuses his private practice and research on sports injuries in Caracas, Venezuela, where he is devoted to preventing, treating, and rehabilitating amateur and professional athletes. As an educator, Dr. Marin has a background in Educational Technology and e-Learning. Educational Technology Diploma in The Metropolitan University - UNIMET (Caracas, 2017), Foundation for the Technological Upgrade of Latin America – FATLA (2013), and The Central University of Venezuela (2012). AWARDS: Best Reviewer Award 2022 - Journal of Experimental Orthopaedics (2022). ISAKOS Young Investigator Award and Research Mentoring Program Winner (2019).
