Dr. Schmitt is an Associate Professor of Physical Therapy in the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences at Ohio State University. Dr. Schmitt’s research focuses on understanding neuromuscular control of the knee as related to optimizing rehabilitation outcomes following knee injury or pathology, minimizing disability after knee injury or pathology, and understanding the development and progression or joint degeneration following knee injury or pathology.
