Dr Adnan Saithna is an Adjunct Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at Kansas City University. He has a subspecialty interest in orthopaedic sports medicine (knee and shoulder). He has received multiple awards including the Richard O'Connor Award (AANA) and a King James IV Professorship (Royal College of Surgeons) for his work related to improving the outcomes of ACL reconstruction, and in particular, defining the role of anterolateral ligament reconstruction. Dr Saithna practiced in the UK prior to moving to the US. He maintains an honorary Professorship at Nottingham Trent University, UK, where he continues to supervise basic science research. His sports medicine fellowship training was at the Pan Am Clinic, Canada, and the Royal Orthopedic Hospital, UK.
