I am an orthopedic surgeon, specializing in sports medicine, and chief of orthopaedic sports medicine for Kansai-Rosai hospital in Japan. I received a M.D. from Nagoya University in 2002, and received a Ph.D. from Osaka University Graduate School of Medicine in 2014.
Now I am working as a clinician, mainly treating sports injuries in athletes. I also engage in clinical research on the meniscus and knee ligament injuries (e.g. radial tear of lateral meniscus and two-stage revision ACL reconstruction), as well as the mechanism of sports injuries for injury prevention.
I was a committee of membership committee in ISAKOS from 2017 to 2021 and I have been an editorial board of ISAKOS Newsletter.
