Abstract

Purpose

Removing the foreign body and cleaning ballistic in blind injury of gunshot wound by arthroscopic which promoted wound healing.
Methods:A case of the buttock blind hurt in gunshot trauma,foreign bodies were located near the sacroiliac joint and the gluteus maximus, which could not be removal of in the first operation. Patients followed with suppurative infection of the wound.We used the arthroscopic technique, prone position, combined with Kirschner wire X-rayed positioning, removal of the foreign body, cleaning ballistic granulation tissue.And washing ballistic with a great deal of saline and placement of VSD device, promote early healing of wound trajectory.
Results:The bullet, clothing fibers and other foreign bodies were successfully removed from the original trajectory, the original infection of the ballistic wound VSD drainage 3 days and then the pulled part out, continue to drain 3 days and then a simple debridement and suture, wound healing.
