Abstract

[Abstract]Objective: It is normal to feel pain after the shoulder arthroscopy surgery. To solve this problem, we locate analgesia pump(PCA) in the acromial bone after surgery, and alleviate pain by pumping drugs continually. And we approach the effect of this. Methods: We selected 52 patients who had taken the general anesthesia shoulder arthroscopy surgery in Sports Medicine Department of Peking University ShenZhen Hospital during May,2015 to May, 2016. The age of these patients was 34.7±6.12 years old. And we divided them into two groups: the observation group (group A) and the control group (group B), each group had 26 patients. We located analgesia pump(PCA) in the acromial bone after the shoulder arthroscopy surgery, and pumped analgesic continually to alleviate pain, the pumping time was 48h. We did not located analgesia pump(PCA) after surgery for the control group. Then we observed the VAS pain score for two groups in 30mins, 1 hour, 2 hours , 3 hours and 6 hours after surgery .Results: The VAS pain scores of observation group (group A) were all lower than the scores of control group(group B).  There had statistical significance between two group. Conclusion: It is efficacious for analgesia pump(PCA) which be located in the acromial bone after the shoulder arthroscopy surgery to alleviate pain.
