To compare the effectiveness comparison of 4-stranded hamstring graft and individual hamstring graft single-bundle reconstruction of anterior cruciate ligament.

Abstract

[abstract]objective :To compare the effectiveness comparison of 4-stranded hamstring graft and individual hamstring graft single-bundle reconstruction of anterior cruciate ligament. Methods between January 2010 and January 2013,156 patients with ACL rupture underwent ACL reconstruction. The 4-stranded hamstring graft group was performed in 78 cases and individual hamstring graft group was performed in 78 cases.there was no diference in gender,age,disease duration,Lysholm scores,tegner scores ,IKDC score and side-to-side difference between the groups.Results all patients were followed-up.there was no comlications occurred .there was no difference in the tegner scores. However, there was no statistical difference. Conclusion Clinical results were improved in both groups. The individual hamstring graft group was thought more benefit in rotational stability . The individual hamstring graft group without gracilis is so advantageous that in returning to sports activities.
