This pre-course is designed for anyone involved in the treatment or
management of soccer players. As the most popular sport in the world, there
is a unique need for
specific information on the treatment of soccer athletes. This course will
be co-sponsored with the Fédération Internationale de Football Association
(FIFA), to accomplish
ISAKOS' mission is to "advance the worldwide exchange and dissemination of
education, research and patient care in arthroscopy, knee surgery and
orthopaedic sports
medicine," as well as FIFA's to "Develop the game, touch the world, build a
better future". This course is a great opportunity for athletes, team
physicians, athletic trainers
and coaches to learn more about the treatment of soccer players!
This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and Policies of the Accreditation
Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through joint sponsorship of the American Academy of Orthopaedic
Surgeons (AAOS) and the International Society of Arthroscopy, Knee Surgery and Orthopaedic Sports Medicine (ISAKOS).
The AAOS is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
