Prof. Nicolaas C. Budhiparama, MD, PhD graduated and received his post graduate degree from University Hospital in Leiden – The Netherlands and had his fellowship trainings from several institutions in Europe, USA and Australia. Some current key positions are 1 of 18 Founding Godfather of ISAKOS Global Connections Campaign, Board of Director & Executive Committee of ISAKOS, Concurrent President of 3 Asia Pacific Arthroplasty Societies : Arthroplasty Society in Asia (ASIA) 2019-2022, Asia Pacific Arthroplasty Society (APAS) 2020-2022, and Asia Pacific Knee Society (APKS) 2019-2022. He is also Past President and Founding Chairman of Indonesian Hip & Knee Society (IHKS). He is the Founder & Chairman of Nicolaas Institute of Constructive Orthopaedic Research & Education Foundation for Arthroplasty & Sports Medicine. He is a Professor at Unversitas Airlangga, Assoc. Professor at Leiden University Medical Center, Global Faculty for AO Recon and ICJR.
