Dr Janani is a Sports and Exercise Medicine physician, graduated from the Centre for Sports Science, Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research, Chennai, INDIA. Upon obtaining her MD sports medicine degree she is currently pursuing PhD in football biomechanics funded by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR, New Delhi). She is one among the very few female sports physicians in the country. Her academic interest includes Football Biomechanics, Fatigue management, Obesity management and sports rehabilitation. She has published her work in several national and international peer-reviewed sports medicine journals.
