Advanced Surgical Skills & Hands-on Cadaver Workshop

The International Society of Arthroscopy, Knee Surgery and Orthopaedic Sports Medicine, Arthroscopy Association of North America, and Chinese Society of Sports Medicine are pleased to announce the first co-sponsored “Advanced Surgical Skills & Hands-on Cadaver Workshop” to be held in Shanghai, China on May 15-17, 2008.

As you know, the 29th Olympic Games will be held in Beijing, promoting the development of sports science in China. CSSM wishes to use this course to welcome the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, as well as improve the quality of sports medicine in China, and introduce the Chinese perspectives on sports medicine to the world.

The ISAKOS Executive Committee has designated this endeavor as high priority and evidence of the ISAKOS mission statement to “Advance the worldwide exchange and dissemination of education”. Instructors provided by ISAKOS and AANA are the world leaders in the fields of arthroscopy, orthopedics and sports medicine. The instructors will train course attendees on advanced concepts about arthroscopy and related surgery, as well as provide state-of-the-art surgical skill instruction.

This meeting will give attendees the opportunity to interact with international experts in arthroscopy and orthopaedic sports medicine. This is an excellent opportunity to exchange your professional experience and also learn about publishing work in Arthroscopy: The Journal of Arthroscopic and Related Surgery.
