Jeffrey Abrams, MD is a Clinical Professor at Seton Hall University, Senior Attending Surgeon at Penn Medicine, University Medical Center of Princeton, and Medical Director of Princeton Orthopaedic Associates in Princeton , New Jersey, USA. He has served as President of the American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons and Arthroscopy Association of North America. He is Chairman of the Board for the Journal Shoulder and Elbow Surgery, and actively reviews for 5 major orthopaedic and sports publications. He serves on the Executive Committee for the Orthopaedic Research and Education Foundation and The Twentieth Century Orthopaedic Association. Dr. Abrams is a shoulder specialist working in the Princeton Community and consults for regional schools, universities and professional athletes. He has written over 70 peer review articles and chapters and is an international speaker and surgeon, operating on four continents. He has produced multiple patents on designed instrumentation and was recognized as the Innovator of the Year for the Stevens Institute in New Jersey. He continues to consult with industry on products and techniques for arthroscopic and minimally invasive shoulder surgery.
