An award to recognize researchers who have performed
the most outstanding clinical or laboratory research in field of orthopaedic
sports medicine.
Application Information
The International Society of Arthroscopy, Knee Surgery and
Orthopaedic Sports Medicine (ISAKOS) is requesting manuscripts to be considered
for the Eighth Achilles Orthopaedic Sports Medicine Research Award.
The purpose of this award is to recognize researcher(s)
who have performed the most outstanding clinical or laboratory research in the
field of orthopaedic sports medicine. Contributions including research in
arthroscopy and knee surgery will not be included in this award.
The deadline for submitting entries is October 1, 2010.
The award-winning manuscript will be selected by the Orthopaedic Sports
Medicine Committee.

The Achilles Orthopaedic Sports Medicine Research Award Consists Of:

- Cash Honorarium (US Dollars)
- Award Certificate
- Presentation of the paper at the ISAKOS 8th
Biennial Congress to be held May 15-19, 2009 in Rio de Janerio, Brazil
- Waiver of 8th Biennial Congress registration fee
- Submission to Arthroscopy: The Journal of Arthroscopic and Related Surgery
for consideration for publication
